There is no getting away from managing change in establishing Lean culture as many things in Lean are against the norm. Having Standardized Work may make someone to think that he will lose his status as an expert in a special task. Displaying status of work as part of visual control may make someone to think his speed of work is being monitored & people can easily see his weaknesses. All these are some examples of pocket of resistance in the journey to Lean culture.
